Saint Remy de Provence has an exceptional cultural heritage

The region enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year.

14 kms away, the Daudet's wind mill and the Montauban castle, where Daudet used to rest, and the Roman aqueduct; and so many other places for you to discover... .

The Saint Paul monastery, where Vincent Van Gogh found shelter from may 1889 to may 1890. There, you'll realise why Vincent Van Gogh fell in love with the places in where he produced more than 150 painting including very famous ones

The ruins of Glanum, one the most famous monuments, left by the Roman civilisation, remarkably set into the massif of the Alpilles. .

     

The village "Les Baux" 8 kms souths from Saint Remy de Provence, the ruins of antique castle, "le donjon des tours de défense", overlooking the wontderfull lardscape of the Crau, the Camargue, and the Baux valley.

The house dating from the beginning of the 15 th Century, where Nostradamus, the famous astrologer (1503) was born, located rue Hoche in the town center.
 

 

An enchanting La Fontaine de Vaucluse continues to intrigue and attract visitors. Since antiquity, the site traffic has been very important; Recent archaeological discoveries (2002-DRASSN-SSFV) show a major cult of water.
After a deep green throat, at the foot of a huge cliff carved by erosion, gushes over the beautiful river in the department: the Sorgue in Vaucluse, a few hundred meters from the picturesque village which gave the valley its name .


   
   
 

 

We are also near to beaches of Camargue,
